About Us

We believe that powerful organizations

  • can bring belonging and meaning to the people who work there

  • can reflect their values even as they change, grow, and face adversity

  • can prune the bullshit to focus on what really matters to their communities

  • are each unique, but can be helped in systematic ways

We bring the intellectual horsepower and curiosity of a social scientist, the grit of a fellow manager and leader ready to roll up their sleeves, and the heart of an emotionally aware human being.

Our founder Stephanie has held GM, Head of Customer Success, and Head of Responsible Seller Growth roles at high growth, mission-driven companies (Honor, Aunt Bertha, Etsy). She completed her PhD in the Princeton Department of Sociology where she did both ethnographic fieldwork and statistical research on organizations and culture. Her undergraduate study was at Vanderbilt University in Economics, English Literature, and East Asian Studies. In other lives: she’s taught business students, design students, and undergrads in NYC and Princeton; was a fellow in corporate governance in Norway; has been interviewed by The New Yorker and The New York Times; and did macro-level analysis at Fidelity Investments in Boston. She’s traveled to some 60 countries, speaks fading Japanese and passable Spanish, and grew up a working-class kid knowing the honor of a hard day’s manual labor.

Please tell us about you - we can’t wait to meet you!
